Canned Pork Sausage: 28 oz. of pork sausage with no artificial ingredients, fully precooked. Net wt. is 28 oz. Cans measure 3-7/8" wide x 4-5/8" tall outside. This is a breakfast sausage recipe with a delicious, mild, well-balanced flavor. It has a fine shredded texture and is packed directly into the can (not in casings.) You can open the ends, press it out and cut into slices, or you can scoop it out by the spoonful. It has a nice mellow, loose texture—the opposite of dense and tough. In fact, if you want it to retain patty shape you need to treat it gently in the frying pan... and that's one of the things we like best about it.
